A lesson incomplete
this healing of the leaders
hearing the words of Jesus
dropping their stones in the dust
at the feet of Christ
Not able to stone her
not one claiming to be righteous
Yet like the ten lepers
the woman alone
there with Him
All alone with Jesus
hearing the rest
to leave her life
like us in sin
all of her days
We like her, like the ten lepers,
we must repent and be healed
to be fully restored;
none of them heard Him
she alone was with Christ
we must change,
we must repent,
we must leave our old
lives behind
to follow where the Savior
led;
we must praise God
the source of our life
thankful for the blessings
and the power of grace
