Believe

Believe, have faith,
trust in God, in yourself;
Do not be chained
shackled by your fears

Walk in mercy,
share in love;
Be gentle with your neighbors
but follow your dreams

Believe, have faith
follow your dreams
Do not let anything
hold you in that prison

Walk gently,
share in good fortune;
Be loving toward everyone
and follow your dreams

what would be different

what would we see
what would you be doing,
if you weren’t afraid,
if fear and doubt didn’t hold you?
don’t be chained by the fears within you
believe, go forward,
follow your dreams.

what would you do

what would you do
what dream would you chase
if you believed
if you trusted enough
to go your own way
what would you do
if you weren’t afraid
if you ignored the voices
the thoughts, your doubts
if you believed enough
to live out your dreams
what would you do
if you truly believed

If we believe more than we fear

we will travel much farther
we will climb much further
if we believe more than we fear
as we walk in this life
our lives will be much richer
if we are not defined by “Can’t”
we will love much more fully
if we believe in our heart
