maybe Georgia had
something right
in her paintings of
flowers
Something human,
evocative,
almost erotic, of
flesh,
Lady slipper
illumined, shining
out in the wood, in
the spring light
the flesh of her
skin engorged, alive
maybe Georgia was
right
in her painting of
flowers
the tiny laces, the
booty of down
in the flesh of
pink, of flesh
something drawing
us, enticing,
something erotic,
sensuous
in the shape of their
flowers.
