Acts of War #Poland #drones #Russia #war #NATO

Polish SIM cards in the drones,
extra fuel for terror, for provocation,
more than hybrid war, intrusion,
cyber-attacks, as normal…
This was kinetic war,
Acts of War against NATO…

Weasel words of outrage,
tempered by experience,
fearing nuclear war, escalation,
caught in the same Cold War trap,
the bluff of the card players…
The aggression of Russia is familiar,
Eastern Europe in its grips…
Fears leave them frozen, timid…

Diplomatic words mean nothing,
deliberate premeditated terror,
nothing like a mistake, drones,
Acts of war against NATO…
We'd better arm Ukraine
to defeat Russia in Ukraine,
to avoid Armageddon…

God is our unity, our peace,
oneness of our faith,
one Lord over all,
Head of one body
united within Jesus,
Savior of every sinner,
One hope for all of us…

One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism,
This is what we profess, believe,
One God and Father over creation,
All we ever will be, one people together,
in the body of one Savior,
One hope for all eternity,
One way to eternal life…

God is our unity, our love,
One hope in creation,
descended, ascended,
Seated now on His throne
He calls us to Him,
One body united,
The body of Jesus Christ…

tilling the soil – 3 - v2 #regeneration

digging, planting, harvesting,
subsistence farming, starting,
hard scrabble ground, giving,
offering itself to me,
to the work of my hands,
My moments of being faithful…

spade work, ground work,
a phrase repeating in my heart
feeling like a failure, forgetting,
falling even farther behind
in the work on my spirit,
My living walk with God…

tilling the soil, working,
in the fields, in my heart,
Still more to do to be ready
to be prepared for the call
for the heart work, the change,
You lovingly have in store…

Accepting the progress,
work You have done already,
Happy in the changes You give me,
that You have given within me…
My Spirit feels Your touch,
Potter of my life…

Like tears in rain – v6 #BladeRunner #Alzheimers #Dementia

A silent scream of loss, of regret,
of losing control, existence,
in our inner self, our identity,
Flowing out of us, pouring,
Becoming perfect, dissolution…
into a great unknown…

Like tears in rain, waters intermingled,
melting, sharing, dissolving, dispersing,
moments, lost in oblivion, in minutes,
falling into nothingness, union,
Who we were in life…
seemingly Lost in time...

Our lives, our memories, our essence,
becoming part of a vast ocean, water,
the pool of the universe, matter,
of time and infinite space,
An expiration date, a release…
Eternity, a pool deep, profound...

Like tears in rain, waters intermingled,
melting, sharing, dissolving, dispersing,
moments, lost in oblivion, in minutes,
falling into nothingness, union,
Who we were in life…
seemingly Lost in time...

One with the living waters, blending,
a place of peace and happiness,
Eternity, an ocean, spreading,
perfect dilution, immortality -
Heaven, becoming eternal…
one with the universe…

When it is our time to die…

You put a new life within me
as I conform my steps
to Your will, oh God…

Continue to work, Lord,

within my spirit, unfamiliar,
A muse of their legacy,
the bard of my people
calling to me mightily,
the room where he was born…

whispering words unaware,
a cadence, a repeating verse,
Breathing a breath prayer
a poem for another
a hope, a promise,
in the Highland air…

the whisper of Burns,
quickening my spirit,
a stirring within,
calls to me yet,
an echo of his musings
within my chest…

life-giving spirit,
alive within me,

Defiled by my heart – v2

When I am lost, wandering,
Apart from my Father,
in the world, of the world
living by my flesh, my wits,
my own understanding,
independent, self-focused,
not listening to the Spirit...
I am defiled by my heart
What comes out of my mouth…

I am defiled by my heart,
the whispers of the Devil,
The lies of Satan are tearing me down…
So many years in the wilderness,
separated from You, Lord...
Striving with my own strength
living in isolation, alone,
claiming power that isn’t mine
When I need You, Lord…

Lord, change me completely,
Wash me wholly clean…
Put a new vision within me,
May I cleave to Your word,
Your Spirit informing my every step…
Heal me, Lord, of my ancient brokenness,
Lift me, Lord, from my ruts, my path,
Set me on Your way, conform my steps…
Lead me in righteousness,
in the way of Christ…

Hold my thoughts captive – v2

Lord, You know my heart,
My desire to serve You,
to turn from my wickedness,
the way of the flesh,
the chains that I carry
for the sins I have done…

Imprison my flesh, my mind,
Hold my thoughts captive
Anything of the world
that binds me, that holds me,
that sets me apart,
that alienates me from God…

Gather everything of Satan,
Bind them, Lord, for rejection,
like dead branches for the fire,
Hold my thoughts captive
Anything of my flesh
that separates me from You…

#Martyrs for the #Madman – v2 #Russia #graves #soldiers #Putin

When their mothers, their wives, their children
come to pay respects for the fallen,
The heroes of Russia, the blessed dead,
brought home to their bosom,
Laid in the cold ground, desecrated,
their graves torn asunder, destroyed,
forgotten by the masses, the empire,
The dictator in the walled city, the Kremlin,
the Dead Souls of a nation, martyrs,
a mere asterisk in history…

Their graves graded over, obliterated,
the cost of the hubris, the arrogance,
the lust for empire of the emperor,
the last tsar of Russia, of Muscovy,
Pushing the army farther
into the blades of the chipper,
The meat grinder assaults
All of them cannon fodder,
branches for the fire,
Nothing will be left of them
No honor, no legacy…

Martyrs for the Madman,
the dictator in the Kremlin,
uncaring about his people,
those who are starving,
those without water, fuel,
Soon to be without power,
even those he sent to their death,
Their graves, the markers turned under,
Forgotten heroes of Russia,
Buried in the cold ground…
