We must be mindful, loving,
in our words, in our actions,
in our walk, in our steps,
Do people see our Savior,
Do they see Jesus?
Do we follow Christ,
Do our words betray us
making our faith a lie?
 
We must follow His example,
We must follow His commandment,
We must love our neighbors,
our sisters and brothers,
as He loved us, as He loves us,
to be His disciples, His hands and feet,
to love as He commanded
before His sacrifice...
 
Our prayer on our journey
when others look upon us
They would see Jesus
They would know we follow
They would see we love others
that we know Christ
that we are faithful
on our daily walk...
 
This is the commandment
This is Christ’s challenge to us
there in the upper room
before His betrayal
before the cross...
That we would love one another
as He loved us, as He loves us
as He chose to die for us...
