We are to #love #grace #mercy

If we listen to Jesus,
if we follow His commandment,
if we are to be children,
if we are to be disciples,
if we are to be siblings,
with our Savior, the Christ,

We are to love,
to love one another,
They will know we are Christians
by our grace, by our love,
by the mercy we show others,
in our life, in our walk…

Trust in God - 8

Put your faith in the Almighty
Trust in God, in God only;
Do not put your trust in mortals,
who are here but a breath.

Cleave to God, upon the mountain,
In the valley, in the pit;
Put your trust in the Almighty,
the Creator of heaven and earth.

Singing the Song of Mary – v3

We sing, joining her
Mary, the mother of our brother,
our Savior, the Christ;
Singing the song of Mary,
the Magnificat, its melody alive
shining in that night

The darkness illumined
by His bright birth star;
Claiming our faith like Mary,
a servant of God, willing,
walking humbly with our Father,
welcoming our King.

Joining Mary, her song
sung to God, for all generations -
blessings we share, each of us
with her, all creation, blessed by the creator
humble servants are we, walking with our brother
sharing this wondrous message, with her, the angels,
those who have gone before us

A choir, singing her song, our song
of praise, of grace, of God’s great works
rejoicing with our mother, our sister

by faith, by his love, all of us saved

my spirit rejoices in God my Savior – v3

My spirit rejoices in God my Savior
my soul glorifies my Lord
for He has blessed me greatly;
I am a humble maidservant,
I am Your vessel, You yourself made me;
use me Lord, as You will

I am overwhelmed, I am humbled,
to think You have chosen me
to bear Your child, the Messiah,
the fulfillment of scripture,
the One foretold, the Savior,
to set our people free

All the Believers – v2

All the believers
should be gathered together
we should be singing together
praises to our King
to the coming of Christ

Joyful, ever, singing
ever aware of the Spirit
feeling God’s presence
Christ with us
forever, always

We are guided by the Spirit
believing God’s promise
to be with us
walking with God
all of our days

On this night more than others
celebrating, in memory
of the coming of Christ
our King descending
taking on human flesh

Singing joyfully, together,
for the coming of our Savior
coming as a baby, as a child
descending to the earth
to heal our sinfulness

Our mother, of our brother
our Savior, the Christ
so we sing, joining her;
Singing the song of Mary

shining in the night

Claiming our faith like Mary,
a servant of God to be,
walking humbly with our Creator
welcoming our King

Joining Mary – v3

Call us into the Magnificat
into the song of submission
joining Mary, with her
into our Advent journey
our worship, our waiting
like her, trusting, our lives

Turned over to God
together joining Mary
hearing His call to her
as if to each one of us,
The Song of the Magnificat
as our Advent hymn.
