o   “Ok. Consider this
o   Us world class DOITYOURSELFERS    
o   prior to starting a project will consult a reference manual
o   or draw a plan to insure the end results are what she expects
o   But in our lives     do we ever consult the reference manual that was given to us to aid and assist us in this area! We got one of them????
o            The Bible !!!!!!!

·        You know what the Bible stands for? No?
o   Basic
o   Instructions
o   Before
o   Leaving
o   Earth
·        The Bible is full of stories, Advent stories
·        What is the purpose of the stories?
o   to help people do the right things while still on earth
o   an instruction manual
o   but we need to do more than read it
§  need to have relationship with God and Jesus
§  need to practice what you read
§  need to pray
·        Advent is a season when we prepare for Jesus
o   the Light being born into the world
o   with the spotlight of the Star
·        Jesus is our perfect gifts
o   If we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior
o   we have a future with God and Jesus
