For us to discern
God’s answers
to the prayers we have
lifted up
we need to stop, to
wait,
to be patient, to
listen;
We need to be silent
for us to discern
God’s answer
for God will surely
answer.
How can we hear God
if we keep on talking
if we don’t take a
breath
after our prayers are
raised up
and listen for God’s
answer;
God is still speaking
to us
sharing His love, if
we will listen.

Hosea 10:12
“Sow righteousness for
yourselves,
reap the fruit of
unfailing love,
and break up your
unplowed ground;
for it is time to seek
the LORD,
until he comes and
showers his righteousness on you.”
Hosea 6:3
“Let us acknowledge
the LORD;
let us press on to
acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun
rises, he will appear;
he will come to us
like the winter rains,
like the spring rains
that water the earth."
