Our
prayers to heaven are
the
same as our parents;
A
river of blood,
the
sins of the ages,
weighing
on our hearts.
Christ
was the answer
to
a people’s fervent prayer;
A
promise fulfilled
from
scripture, from prophecy,
a
people restored.
Christ
is the answer
to
the prayers of the people;
Our
hope is in our Savior
the
one way to salvation,
God’s
gift of love.
Christ
will be the answer
forever,
eternal,
to
all of our problems;
Christ
is our hope for tomorrow,
to
our strife, our trials,
the
answer to all of our prayers.
