In our bones, in the heavens,
in the way of the world, this moment,
signs of the End Times, prophecy,
feeling so deeply, certain,
that Christ's return is coming quickly.
We must be careful not to ascribe too closely
people, events, world conditions
to particular words of scripture;
but war, pestilence, and famine
prove the End Times are upon us.
So many signs, we see them so clearly,
sometimes not wanting to believe
the chaos, the struggle, this moment,
that the end of time is coming
that Christ’s return is coming quickly.
