#writing in #cursive - v2

Telephone/power lines
straight lines, staccato,
creating writing blotters
a second-grade sheet
of yellow lined paper.
 
A seagull dancing
writing in cursive
flying between the lines
some in upper-case
and some in lower-case letters...
 
The flick of its feathers
like a quill writing,
drawing Japanese characters
rising through the lines
ever higher and higher.
