Awakening the Muse – v3

Asleep within me, the muse of my heart
You, oh Holy Spirit, waiting for me,
Looking within, the words still there, waiting,
finding voice, freedom, when I still myself to Thee.
 
Speak to me, Holy Spirit eternal,
give me Your words to offer, to share,
find me willing, in the quiet of my soul, my spirit,
teach me to share Your message, Love to the world.

Flowing, a wellspring rising,
letting loose the torrent,
the fountain of Your love…
 
Spirit speak through me,
convey God’s true nature,
in the words You give me,

#thankful for this moment – v3 #Katahdin

thankful for this moment,
for the mountain rising before me
for the camera in my hands
capturing this image, this moment
 
grateful for my eyes
to see such wonder
for beauty all around us
if we would stop and find it
 
sure in this moment
to this place we cleave to
blessed to be placed
in this land of such beauty
 
thankful for the Creator
for God’s plan, His beauty,
for this universe, this place,
touched by His loving hands,
held in God’s embrace…

grateful in my bones,
Blessed in my heart,

More than a feeling
a place of peace, of rest,
A choice we each can make,
with each and every breath…

Live at peace, in harmony,

with others, your neighbors;

show God’s love, His mercy to all.

Live at peace with your sister, your brother,

the other, the stranger here with you;

live a life of kindness, of mercy;

love all with the endless love of God.
