God made us righteous – v2

God made us righteous
not by our works;
We become like Christ
through faith in Jesus only

We have new life
God saves us from damnation
for we cannot earn salvation
there is nothing we will ever do

We are justified by grace
by believing in Jesus;
We are raised from the grave
by our Lord and our Savior

afraid to pray – v4

Afraid to pray,
Lord, may I never be afraid
to pray, to lift up my life,
my concerns, my struggles;
Lord, may I never doubt
may I hear Your whisper
Your call upon my heart
Your joy within me

Afraid to pray,
Lord, may I never be afraid
to speak the impossible to You;
Knowing Your mighty works
feeling Your loving hand upon me
in all the trials of my life,
Knowing the impossible is easy
for You Almighty God

the epiphany of Naaman – v2

So stubborn, so prideful
so sure of himself
the epiphany of Naaman
not wanting to believe
not trusting God

the challenge of the prophet
to do something simple
to be healed

The epiphany of Naaman
ultimately submitting
to the instruction of Elijah
entering the Jordan
to be fully healed
