Pray like you believe

Why are you so limited,
praying like you don’t mean it
that you don’t trust in God
that He can do it
that God is unable
to do what we see as impossible
that the Creator of the universe
doesn’t hear your voice

Pray the impossible
the inconceivable
the desires of your heart
have faith, trust
in all-powerful God

Why are you silent, so timid,
are you afraid to voice your wants
coming half-full before God,
a glass actually nearly empty,
when God wants to fill you up
Leave doubts behind you
dump cares to the wind
come before God faithful

Pray the impossible
the desires of your heart
have trust in eternal God;
our God is the God of the impossible,
bring the impossible to God.
