Worry is a
weight
far too
familiar
a burden I
carry
drowning in
my thoughts
my mind
reeling
with many
permutations
different
scenarios
reasons for
reaction
a life in
the mind
reeling inside
my head
Worry is a
weight
in
perpetual motion
no
beginning or end
a tape
looping
familiar
response
with many
variations
assuming
motives
within each
action, gesture,
facial
expressions revealing
that which
words have left hidden
Worry is a
weight
an anchor
on my journey
like anger,
a demon,
part of my
struggle
to let go,
to fly; but
some of it
inherited
needing to
let go
to trust
more fully in God;
He is
greater than
all my
worries together.
