He had no answer, he had no wisdom,
He did not respond to these words of Jesus,
He did not see Him, the One standing before him,
He did not name Him as the One, as the Son, the Christ.
He was a seeker, a teacher, but Nicodemus was silent,
He did not proclaim the coming of the One, the Christ,
Christ stood before him, imparting divine wisdom,
But he was blind to the Messiah, the Christ.
