A Sunflower grows, rising,
out of the rubble, the inferno,
in the streets, from the ashes,
in the fertile ground of hope…
A Sunflower grows, rising,
defying the terror, the tyrant,
not surrendering, not giving in,
standing erect, defiant, resolute…
A Sunflower grows, rising,
from the fertile soil, this country,
alive with the colors of their flag,
their hope that burns within…
