Pride whispers – v2

Pride whispers in the darkness
condemning our souls to death
separating us from grace,
from the mercy of God…

Pride whispers, “You are better
than your sins, but you are not enough.
You are unworthy of salvation
of the sacrifice of Christ”…

Pride whispers damnation
But the Spirit cries, “You are Enough!
God loves you, Jesus saved you,
You are my beloved child”…

Pride whispers the lies of Satan
words to separate, to drive a wedge,
But Christ paid our debt.
We have eternal life…

Walk as He Walked – v4

Live in Him;

walk as He walked.

Believe and be healed;

spread His message, His love.

Live as He lived;

follow the Master’s calling.

Do the Father’s will;

share His holy message.

Walk as He walked,

obedient in each moment;

choosing the way of the cross

in Him there is life eternal.

God unites us

nothing of earth

of our own design

we are separated

from the ones we love

God unites us

God molds us

into a people,

the church of Christ

though we are broken

though we are shattered

though we sin against

the ones we love

God unites us

God molds us

into a people,

the church of Christ

we are broken, we fall short

we sin against each other

we hurt the ones we love

we are a forgiven people
