Guard my heart, oh God,
from attacks coming upon me;
Set me on my path,
the way you have planned for me.
 
Cleanse me of my sin,
put a hedge of protection around me;
Fill the hedge to the rim,

with the blood of Jesus who saved me.

Your grace wakes with the morning - v2

You are with me, Lord, as I arise,
from my slumber into my daylight,
Your grace wakes with the morning
a promise unending, eternity,
as You are, Almighty God.

Great is Your faithfulness, Lord,
Your presence, Your promise,
Your love, Your grace surrounding me,
Mercy stalking me in my waking,
I am ready to face the new day.

Within the arms of the cedars

A place set apart, a living prayer closet,
a carpeted room, a space,
within the arms of the cedars,
where I enter into worship.
 
A circle of sorts, a cathedral,
a natural enclosure, alive,
where I can pray, meditate,
where I can commune with God.
