tear #sin out bodily – v2 #confess #repent

Uproot sin like an invasive species
tear sin out of me bodily
to heal my spiritual body…
My sinful nature is a poison,
Satan torments me…
each sin seeking to separate me
from the waters of eternal life…

Rip sin from me,
from my flesh, my body,
from my beating heart…
Put Your heart within me
that I might show Your love,
a vessel, as Your faithful servant
washed by Christ’s precious blood…

Relying on You only

Why is it that we come to You, Lord,
Only in our trials, in our struggles,
Crying out to God to save us,
To lift us from the pit, the well,
The valley of our own making?

We should come to You first,
In prayer, in supplication, joyful,
Relying on You only, only,
In every breath, in every step,
In every moment of our lives.

Praising You on the mountaintop,
Praising You in the valley, in our trials,
Relying on You only, only,
For You are our one hope,
For meaning, for joy in this life.

Lead us Lord Jesus,

teach us how to serve;

Send us out two by two

out into Your world

Show us how to love

feeling you with me – v2

feeling You with me

my God, my Savior

in the storms, the struggles,

in the shadow lands,

in the trials of life

feeling You with me

Your holy Presence

guiding me, safely,

through the storms

through the trials of life

send us out two by two – v3

Lead us Lord Jesus,

teach us how to serve;

Send us out two by two

out into your world.

Show us how to love

to witness to Your grace;

Let us share Your Word

that all may see Your face.

from the depths of my soul – v3

From the depths of my soul

I cry out for purpose

to be valued, for worth,

to share, to witness;

But I also cry out

for money, for comfort

for a debt-free path

in the rest of my days.

grace to seal the breach

grace enough
