Uproot sin like an invasive species
tear sin out of me bodily
to heal my spiritual body…
My sinful nature is a poison,
Satan torments me…
each sin seeking to separate me
from the waters of eternal life…

Rip sin from me,
from my flesh, my body,
from my beating heart…
Put Your heart within me
that I might show Your love,
a vessel, as Your faithful servant
washed by Christ’s precious blood…
