When I hit my rock bottom – v2 #sin #confession #repentance

When I hit my rock bottom,
when I faced the truth of my sin,
crying in the darkened sanctuary,
You rescued me from myself...
You welcomed me with open arms,
in You I find my rest...

You saved me from earthly death,
though I deserved it in that moment,
You healed the worst of my pain,
my shame for my sins...
You brought me back to You again 
I praise Your holy name...

That was not the first time,
if I am fully honest, truthful,
You saved me from earthly death
from my flesh, my sinful choices...
But You reminded me I have a purpose, 
You aren't finished with me yet...

I am still broken clay, sinful,
I still fail to be obedient, faithful,
I fall back into my nature, my flesh,
but I now choose the Potter’s wheel...
Complete the work You started in me,
I praise Your holy name...
