Do we know Jesus

Do we truly know Jesus,
In our hearts, in our spirits,
Do we clean to the cross,
The way to eternal life…

Do we abide in the vine, His blessing,
Drawing our very breath
From the One who gives us life,
Are we part of the body,
The heart of Jesus Christ…

Do we really know Jesus,
The One who descended from heaven,
Who entered time, became mortal,
To give us each new life…

Do we abide in the vine, the body,
Do we drink of the waters of life,
Drawing life from His life,
His death and resurrection,
Our new life in Jesus Christ…
