oh Lord, my shepherd,
lay Your hand upon me,
restore my soul
the spirit within me…
 
quicken my flesh,
with Pentecost fire,
restore me completely,
that I might serve You…
 
restore my soul,
the heart beating within me,
pour out Your love
into this earthen vessel…
 
give me these words,
so I may share them richly,

I am buoyed by your words, your love,
your sacrifice, coming to me,
these moments, precious,
seconds stolen together,
the world kept at bay,
even for a breath,
finding a way…
 
Your love lifts me, sweetheart,
how my spirit soars, rising,
to the heights,
the heavens,
hearing chimes
of you arriving
finding a moment
with you, darling,
to calm my fears…
 
I am lightened in my walk,
through your love,
my life, darling,
seconds become
a lifetime, love,
abundant treasure,
rising in my spirit,
joy in my heart…

when I asked for more,
than I felt I was worthy of,
words of an unspoken prayer…
 
You reached down from heaven,
You made a way, a yes, a gift,
a blessing poured out upon me,
to give me peace, some rest...
 
I have strived to be faithful
to this calling on my heart,
but uncertainty, fear,
always tugs at my spirit…
 
But, You made a way through
my fears, when I stepped out in faith,
asking You a specific request,
You answered my prayer with, "Yes",...

I am richly blessed, gifted,

Restored Sovereignty – v2

An unprovoked war of aggression,
a violation of international law,
of the United Nations’ Charter,
must not end in victory, territory,
the sovereignty of the victim,
for the terrorist, the aggressor…
 
No land for a false peace,
merely a pause in the fighting,
a fidelity to a nation’s sovereignty,
restored to their boundaries,
to international law, power,
in the hands of the world…
 
A challenge to the nations, to all of us,
to stand with the victim, Ukraine,
Cain must not be allowed to triumph,
over Abel, their brother, their neighbor,
the world’s abdication no excuse,
for the terrorist, the aggressor…

Three years of terror, genocide – v2

A brutal invasion, a genocide, horrors,
three years of terror growing, a crisis,
an unwanted anniversary, marking,
eleven years, longer, under this threat,
knowing the bear was coming, rabid,
that imperial lust was in its heart
the heart of the madman in the bunker…
 
Three years of terror, of war crimes,
an unprovoked invasion, oppression,
attrition of their cities, horrible crimes,
their evil master returning, conquest,
his imperial lusts on display, present,
in the meat assaults, the missiles, drones,
genocide, crimes against humanity…
 
His cruelty evident, this last Tsar of Russia,
an illegitimate dictator, a mad tyrant,
bent on exterminating these people,
horror, attrition, every day, repeating,
while we dither, appeasing; we must act,
we must arm Ukraine to defeat him,
the cruel madman in the bunker…

We can’t understand
We may never know fully,
What dark secret is hidden,
What he says, what he does,
The only unfathomable answer
A truth unlike all others, apostacy,
Something scandalous, combustible,
To hold such raw power, to change him,
Kompromat, poison, evil to be silenced,
Secret never to be told, hidden in shadows
Darkness of pure evil, a sword of Damocles,
Over his head, poised to strike, to destroy, a
Razor at his throat cutting his Adam’s apple,
Getting his attention, fully compromised,
Trigger words, phrases, making an agent,
Changing his life’s direction, beholden,
A threat, a lie, an engagement, stolen,
What a horrible truth he must hold
For him to sell his soul, his country,
To bend to the will of another,
His handler, his tormentor,
His master, his king,

their evil master returning, conquest,
his imperial lusts on display, present,
in the meat assaults, the missiles, drones,
genocide, crimes against humanity…
 
His cruelty evident, this last Tsar of Russia,
bent on exterminating this people,
horror, attrition, every day, repeating,
while we dither, appeasing, we must act,
we must arm Ukraine to defeat him,
the madman in the bunker…

Don’t give Ukraine to the Madman – v4

A prayer repeating, recurring,

frozen in time, unresolved, waiting,
a nation in rubble, burning, forgotten,
don’t let evil win, be triumphant,
don’t give Ukraine to the Madman
it will not be the end of his dreams…
 
Our silence crying out, longing,
to retake the stage, the breath,
evil only understands threat/ resolve,
his card of nuclear Armageddon,
the West cowed once again
a rabid Bear on the march…
 
His dreams of conquest, an empire,
destruction of just one nation, Ukraine,
isn’t the end of his mission, his purpose,
his fevered quest much greater,
we must stop him now, here,
before he kills, and kills again…

Russia is Evil. Do not negotiate with Evil. Defeat Evil. Defeat Russia.

You have a hand in this

You answered my specific prayer,
when I asked for more,
than I felt I was worthy of,
You reached down from heaven,
You made a way, a yes,
a blessing poured out upon me,
to give me peace, some rest...
 
I have strive to be faithful
to this calling on my heart,
but uncertainty, fear,
always tugs at my spirit,
so You made a way through
my fears, when I stepped out in faith,
You answered my prayer with, "Yes",...

Hasten #Ukraine’s #Victory – v2

No more half-measures, weakness,
no red lines of appeasement,
fearing escalation, nuclear war,
living into the mandate, the law,
the charge of the legislation,
to hasten Ukraine’s victory…
 
Hasten Ukraine’s victory,
a promise in legislation, resolve,
send them more air defenses,
every weapon to stop the enemy,
to send them into the trenches,
to drive them from the land…
 
No more half-measures,
no more weakness, appeasement,
unjust limits on their actions,
allow them to bring the war,
the consequences to the land,
to the home of their tormentors…

We must live life in this present, this now,
walking the steps right before us,
we must strive ever forward,
we must never look back…
 
Our past may inform us on our journey,
but we cannot change history, what was,
we must move forward in this present,
ever forward, with every step in life…
 
We must live life in this present,
the days and minutes before us,
we must focus on each day, now,
finding joy in each moment…

Our identity, clarity, focus,
beyond our human condition,
meaning in Love, in witness,
in grace, in forgiveness,
in living awakened, ablaze,
infused with power, with purpose,
with the light of God’s love…
 
Love at our center, in faith,
informing our living, our being,
spirits alive, urgently serving
in living with purpose, our calling,
dwelling in the living water,
in the truth of God’s love…
