looking through the doorway
leaving Jesus waiting
in that place set apart
Christ waiting, patient,
waiting for each of us,
for the time set aside
to sit at His feet.
seeing our Savior
waiting for me, waiting,
for me to sit down
to spend time with Him.
not guilt but awakening
calling me to slow down
to be purposeful in my prayer time
my time spend with Him.
