Our lives, like glass jars
filled by the stones, the
gravel,
by sand, by water
the urgent and the important
our choices each day
Be purposeful in filling
the days of your life;
beginning with the stones
so that there is room for
the important things of life
For, if we are not mindful,
merely sand, merely water
filling our days,
unfocused and busy
without focus or God’s purpose.
