when the rains come
we rejoice in our Creator
we praise God in the storm
for life, for creation
for walking with us
lives change, we are transformed
new life appears from the water
bursting from the dry places
suddenly from the desert
where life seemed impossible
dry bones come to life
with the living waters
the breath of life
the Spirit within us
life springs anew, rekindled,
from the dry bones in the valley
