Not stopping for Jesus
not going to thank him
for his healing
our wholeness
for our salvation
the gift He has given
A lesson incomplete
this healing of the leaders
reminding them of their past
hearing the words of the Savior
dropping their stones in the dust
at the feet of Christ
Not able to stone her
their own sin remembered
not one claiming to be righteous
Yet like the ten lepers
the woman alone
there with Him
All alone with Jesus
hearing the rest
the rest of the lesson
to leave her life
like us in sin
all of her days
We like her, like the ten lepers,
we must repent and be healed
leaving our old lives
to be restored fully;
none of them heard Him
she alone with Christ
