Wrapped in the words
I choose, color,
To be evocative,
Emotive, to tap into feeling
To touch the reader
Making each poem
For everyman, each person,
Touching their place
In the world, substance,
My turn of phrase, imagery,
Theirs to use, to capture
to usurp, given, to use
For themselves.
