God cried, Jesus wept,
He was grieved in His Spirit,
He loved Lazarus,
But He loved us more.
Christ let His friend die...
 
God, cried, Jesus wept,
His heart was burdened with sorrow,
But He raised him from the dead,
To show us His power,
To bring the Godhead Glory...
 
God cried, Jesus wept,
While Caiaphas planned evil...
The march toward Passover,
To the Sanhedrin, to the cross...
Had already begun...
 
God cried, Jesus wept,
Light walked in the darkness,
But we need to make a choice,
We must be like those there
We must believe in Jesus...
