While we may not know the
limits
the garden is finite, with
boundaries;
Our world is precious,
unique
given into our trembling
hands.
We are made of the earth
the stuff of our clay;
Man too is finite
returning to the dust.
Here for a time only
each to do their part;
To tend, not to abuse,
the garden, this good earth.
