The flowers of the morning -
rose, hyacinth, tulips,
daffodils,
narcissus, in the garden
suddenly illumined;
Washed, from a distance
alive in holy light.
Fleeting light,
transcendent,
reflected for a moment
the sunlight hitting
the windows across the street;
Refracted, streaming
landing on this piece of
earth.
