Third Sunday of Easter
Children’s Message
- mystery box – sunglasses and mint/candy
“What would we need when
we are walking in a desert?”
-
Shanequa put the
item in today…
-
what is in the
box today?
o sunglasses, Halls, strawberry-banana candy
What would we need when we
are walking in a desert?
[. . . ]
-
desert times
-
sometimes we go
through dry seasons
-
There is one
thing that can quench our thirst
-
Living water
-
Jesus
o like the mint, to refresh us
-
with Jesus we
need sunglasses
-
until in heaven
when we can see him face to face
-
He can quench our
thirst now
-
What can lead us
onward, not to be parched?
o Devotionals
o going to church
o spending time with Jesus
