hardened concrete, seven meters deep
a place of shelter, of refuge,
in the storm, the attack,
targeted, bombs...  repeating –
a cruel double-tap –
crimes against these people
crimes against humanity...
 
sheltered against terror
but there are no red lines
the Moskals striking
the innocent, children,
first responders –
a cruel double-tap –
everywhere defenseless
Patriots on the shelf...
 
Allies indifferent, silent,
allowing Moscow’s terror,
slow to support the victims
siding with the aggressors
when they should be
stopped, arrested,
thrown in the dock...
 
nine aerial bombs
because we are complacent
Complicit in the blood
when we are silent
hiding behind red lines
too timid to act
allowing terror –
the cruel double-tap...
 
innocents sacrificed –
a cruel double-tap –
on the altar of hesitance,
the desert of indifference
but their countrymen will remember –
the crimes Russia committed
at the school in Komyshuvakha...
 
supporters, allies must rise up
We must redouble our efforts
We must speak life, hope,
into this time of darkness –
Evil cannot, must not win –
here, in Ukraine...
Russia must be defeated...
They must be driven out...

“To those who read Oleksandra's words at the end of her post and hear her exhaustion, her pain, at the West's failure, please don't look away; please do not be silent. Indifference is the greatest evil.
We must redouble our efforts. We must do more to speak life, to speak hope into this time of darkness. Evil cannot, must not win in Ukraine.”
