Our salvation story
God still not at the center
when we focus on ourselves
our salvation story
a gift to the rest
Our focus selfish, self-centered,
of our conversion, our saving
I am redeemed, God died for me,
Christ has saved me
Every I statement, about me,
if this is the ending, the end
of the world, not of the holy
not worthy of his disciples
Only if the beginning,
not the end to itself, finished,
our saving for a purpose
to share the good news
Our lives to be a vessel
to be filled, to be poured
sharing as we are given
to them, life evermore
