A large crowd gathering

Watching them coming
as we crossed the waters
a familiar sight now
wherever we went
When the people saw Jesus
they came running
bearing the sick, the lame
eager for his healing
A large crowd gathering
faster, faster, waiting
on the shore, the hillside
waiting for his teaching
No rest for Jesus
the shepherd soon preaching
sharing God’s love
for all of God’s children
