people who are free – v2

we are not condemned
prisoners, judged
the sanction upon us
we are free, chosen
selected by God
people who are free
but we wander as captives
not sharing our joy
not believing the word
 
Christ set us free
we must accept this
the beginning, the end
how we respond,
look to those before us
we should share
the message we are given
the freedom flowing
as living water
 
sharing our joy
to all who will listen
even to those
who have hearts that are hardened
like water chiseling stone
changed in time
continuing, ever
sharing the one message
pouring out salvation
