A river of snow – 2

A river of snow, a curtain of ice,
perfect, pristine in its beauty,
the road covered in white,
the trees glazed in sparkle,
Calling to us to stop, to linger,
to explore the world beyond.
 
A river of snow, a curtain of ice
where there should be a roadway
every tree, each branch glazed,
in a skin of ice, in beauty,
Snow building, hiding the lines,
man-made, in the way of nature.
