Standing in this
crowd
with our
neighbors
Looking at the
faces,
fear, yet
resolved
Standing for
justice,
yearning for
compassion,
Loving our
neighbors,
we seek a better
way
To solve the
challenges
the choices
before us,
Hope in our future
We stand together,
in community
Lifting up our
neighbors
those who are
hurting,
The State alone is
able
to meet their
urgent needs
Coming together.
divergent
communities,
Speaking with one
voice
that our
neighbors may be free
All of us deserve
dignity,
opportunity,
To live together
in peace and
harmony
None left behind
all deserving
mercy,
Help when they
need it
hope for all of
us.
