from within the mist – v4

God is out there in the fog
His grace is ever present
calling to me, come,
from within the mist,
beyond my vision, my sight,
what I can see with my eyes
calling to me, “Trust;
Submit to my will;
come to me, my son,
if you want to live.”
I hear You, Lord, I do,
I want to trust;
but I am held by fear;
my feet are made of clay;
they are of the dust.

a brutal dictator

a brutal dictator
a dictator for life
terrorizing his people
taking their lives
what are we to do
in the face of this terror
righteous judgement
of the world upon us
if we sit by, silent,
while the people suffer
at the hands of the tyrant
the dictator for life
