The Silence before the train

grace feel upon him,
in his pain, his suffering,
despair was wicked,
in the Silence before the train…
 
in the Silence before the train,
a gift of grace imparted,
God’s peace washed o’er him,
calming his troubled spirit…
 
gifted time to slow, to sojourn,
to walk quietly with God,
what he needed in that moment,
in the Silence before the train…
