After You spared my life – v2

After You spared my life,
I sat in Your sanctuary,
the church of my youth,
wrapping their arms around me,
You set me on Your right path…
 
Returning to You, to Your Church,
to You, oh God, my Father,
sitting in Your pew crying,
knowing You saved me,
You spared my life…
 
Still a wandering prodigal,
broken, struggling ever,
but redeemed by Christ’s blood,
humbly approaching, bowing before,
Your throne, oh loving God…
 
Returning to You, to Your Church,
the faith of my youth, my childhood,
feeling You with me, Your touch,
overcome with connection, saved,
You restored me, oh God…
 
After You spared my life,
I bow down before You,
I pour our myself, my will,
to be used by You, a vessel,
for You, Almighty God…
