Unwavering Support

what will it take for NATO,
for the United States,
to give Ukraine unwavering support,
all the arms they need…
 
butchered cultural icons,
attrition, beheaded POWs,
all that should have shocked the conscience,
that should have caused us to act…
 
three of existential terror,
civilians thrown into the breach,
a war of genocide, pure evil,
blood running in the streets…
 
when will we finally act,
to rise to this moment,
Russia must be defeated,
before any peace can come…
