Open wounds, bleeding

scar tissue torn wide open,
present day, not history,
open wounds, bleeding,
the dead crying in the soil…
 
blood of the innocent crying,
shouting for life, for justice,
those who commit such evil,
must be placed in the dock…
 
oh, defenders have courage,
you fight on the side of right,
allies rise, stand beside them,
there is no time to waste…
 
open wounds, bleeding,
cities bombed again and again,
the evil of human safaris,
of God, when will the evil end…
