Psalm 3

I have slept before my enemies,
because God is with me,
He protects me, saves me,
my God gives me peace…
 
Sweet restorative, calm sleep,
You sustain me, protect me,
under the shadow of Your wings,
You comfort me, oh God…
 
I stop to praise You, oh God,
from my knees, on the heights,
You will never leave or forsake me,
all the days of my life…
