when the demons come – v2

pain, fear, temptation,
spirits that stalk us, relentless,
minions of the Devil, of Satan,
seeking to separate us from God…
 
share your struggles, your burdens,
don’t carry your stones alone,
reach out to one another
when the demons come…
 
pain, fear, temptation,
all seek to divide us, tear us,
fighting against our best selves,
trying to separate us from God…
 
reach out to your kinsmen,
when your burdens are too heavy,
God has put them on your path,
to help you carry the load…
 
pain, fear, temptation,
are part of Satan’s tactics
but our God is forgiving, loving,
nothing can separate us from God…
