Freedom fills their lungs, a prayer,
as they stand, as they march united,
hope dwelling within each of them,
every defender, everyone marching,
those defiant out in the streets….
Joy cannot be contained, hope eternal,
freedom is their hearts’ desires,
life is welling up, defiant, resistant,
resilient against the oppressors,
those who would cause them harm…
Life is coming, freedom, liberty,
shaking off the yoke of oppression,
the day of victory, of peace,
draws ever closer for them,
their joy will be complete…
