the next right step – v2

help me move forward, Lord,
to listen to Your whisper, to hear your voice,
to block out the noise, the demons,
my inner voice, my struggles, my pain,
Lord, help me to take the next right step…
 
I am not asking for a detailed roadmap,
every step from beginning to end,
I want, I seek, I trust in Your plan,
Your calling, Your purpose,
for each next right step…
 
help me to let go of control, Lord,
to have peace in my spirit, my body,
to cleave to Your still small voice,
not demanding answers, promises,
but taking that next right step…
 
I trust in Your goodness, Lord,
to lead me, to guide me, safely,
to submit more fully, by faith,
so that I may bring You glory,
as I walk each next right step…
