this is just how it is...
I am fallen, I am broken,
I have shattered myself
into countless jagged pieces...
 
but I want to change, to be healed,
to be restored in my spirit,
to hold onto hope, faith,
for today and tomorrow...
 
I confess I am broken, fallen,
but You have gathered my broken pieces,
You have put me back on Your wheel,
Creator, Potter to my clay...
 
Heal me, Lord, I pray, I beg You,
reshape me into something useful,
a vessel to be filled, refilled,
poured out for Your glory...
