Psalm 3 – v2

I have slept before my enemies,
because God is always with me,
He protects me, saves me,
my God gifts me peace…
 
Sweet restorative, peaceful sleep,
You sustain me, protect me,
under the shadow of Your wings,
You comfort me, oh God…
 
I stop ever to praise You, oh God,
from my knees, up on the heights,
You will never leave or forsake me,
all the days of my life…
